8000 BC - The Ancients on Earth go on to influence the language and mythology of Ancient Rome, the myths of Greece, and their research on ascension forms the basis of Buddhism. Many Ancients continued to use the Stargate network, and formed an Alliance of Four Great Races, with the Nox, the Asgard and the Furlings, who had become very advanced. This Alliance lasts for centuries.
February 2000 - Daniel Jackson figures out where the Harcesis is; a planet called Kheb. There, SG-1 encounter a Zen monk who is teaching Ascension, which Daniel thinks may be the basis for Buddhism on earth. Daniel learns much about Ascension, and eventually finds the child. It is being guarded by the Ascended Ancient Oma Desala - he realises that the child is safer with her and leaves him in Oma's care.
