Kumuda, Sharon Janis, produced and chanted the first available version of the Diamond Sutra sung in English. This is a historical accomplishment in the bringing of Buddhism to the West. It is also a great service, as listening to the sutra chanted, has been indicated to be a gate to Enlightenment. It is said that Hui Neng, the 6th Patriarch of Chan (Zen) was enlightened after hearing just 4 lines of this sutra. Her beautiful rendition of the Diamond Sutra is available on Itunes, for those who wish to practice with it.
