One of the last films of the great 80 year old Japanese director, Dreams (1990) consists of 8 short film versions of dreams, all on various subjects. Kurosawa has always been socially conscious, and many of the dreams contain simple minded but heartfelt environmental warnings. It is both surprising and logical to see Kurosawa going Green at the end of his career. Slow moving but visually beautiful.[1]
