Ven. Geshe Sopa, living in America since the mid 1960’s, is a professor at Wisconsin University, Madison where he has established a department of Tibetan and Buddhist studies. The co-author of a number of books and translations of texts on Buddhist philosophy, he is renowned for his deep understanding of the Madhyamika, or Middle Way, view of reality. In this interview he answers questions concerning his early training in Tibet and the changes he has seen take place as Buddhism comes to the West.[1] (The creation of this DVD was kindly sponsored by the Camellia Foundation.)
