Perhaps a little far afield, but raises the very interesting issue about what constitutes evidence for the hard-to-believe. This is relevant to Buddhists who also depend, until they verify it themselves, on testimony for evidence of the possibility of enlightenment. Also it has been suggested that the aliens, should they exist, are quite spiritually advanced.
