Malick [the director], a Harvard graduate, Rhodes scholar and a translator of Martin Heidegger, was reported in his long absence to be working on a script about the creation of the world, studying Buddhism in the Himalayas and to be living in Paris, all true the producers say. It was also rumored that he was selling T-shirts and cutting people's hair, which they deny.[1]
